Pulse Arena & Kids Zone at AMRA

A Contemporary Family Entertainment Hub

The Pulse Arena and Kids Zone is designed as a dynamic, multi-functional environment where entertainment, social interaction, and creative play come together within a cohesive architectural framework. Conceived as a central destination within the residential complex, the project offers a balanced experience for both adults and children, allowing families to spend time together while also engaging in individual activities.

The space combines high-energy gaming, lounge environments, and dedicated children’s zones, creating a versatile setting where parents can relax and socialize while children play, learn, and explore in safe and stimulating environments.

Pulse Arena: A Neo-Luxury Gaming Experience

At the heart of the project lies the Pulse Arena, a contemporary gaming space that redefines recreational environments through a refined, neo-luxury design approach. The arena hosts a wide range of activities, including a bowling alley, retro arcade games, billiards, foosball, VR simulators, virtual golf and racing experiences, darts, and a café.

The spatial organization is defined through a carefully curated material palette. Natural stone is used in the entrance, café, and circulation areas, establishing a sense of durability and sophistication. In contrast, gaming zones such as bowling and billiards are elevated on wooden platforms, creating a clear spatial hierarchy while introducing warmth and tactility.

The interior is framed by glazed façades, softened with glass brick elements that filter daylight and reduce glare. This creates a controlled yet visually rich environment. Wall surfaces clad in natural wood and stone reinforce the material continuity, while metal accents within the café introduce a subtle industrial character.

A unified ceiling system composed of linear metal slats with integrated lighting ensures visual coherence across the space. This approach minimizes visual clutter and directs attention toward activity zones. Leather-upholstered furniture and integrated greenery further enhance comfort, balancing luxury with a natural atmosphere.

Kids Zone, Soft Play Room

An Immersive Environment for Active Play

The Soft Play Room is designed as a safe and imaginative space that supports physical activity and exploration. Inspired by natural forms, the design features soft pastel tones, curved geometries, and organic elements that create a calming yet engaging environment.

The space is divided into zones for different age groups and activity levels. A quieter corner for younger children includes soft seating arranged around a tree-inspired feature, encouraging social interaction and tactile play.

The central area is an immersive play landscape organized around a ball pit that functions as both a play surface and a safety element. This zone integrates multiple active features, including swings, slides, climbing ropes, ladders, and a climbing wall. Overhead hand loops and a trampoline add layers of movement and interaction, while a sculptural giraffe element introduces a playful and imaginative dimension.

The overall design promotes motor skill development, confidence, and cooperative play, ensuring an inclusive and stimulating experience.

Kids Zone, Art Room

A Creative Space for Expression and Discovery

The Art Room is conceived as a flexible and interactive environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression. Defined by a soft, cloud-inspired theme, the space combines warm materials with a calm atmosphere that supports artistic exploration.

A perforated wooden wall integrates storage while functioning as an interactive surface where children can create patterns using colored elements. Adjacent walls act as a display gallery for children’s artworks, fostering a sense of ownership and pride.

A costume display area introduces storytelling and role-play, supported by a small amphitheater where children can perform and engage in group activities. The flooring becomes an active creative surface, featuring a pre-designed pattern that allows children to paint and draw directly.

This surface is made from PVC-free, bio-based vinyl, ensuring durability, hygiene, and ease of maintenance. A separate table-and-chair area supports more focused activities such as drawing, crafting, and model-making.

The Art Room is designed to support creative freedom, tactile engagement, and collaborative learning, making it a key component of the Kids Zone.

A Holistic Family Experience

The Pulse Arena & Kids Zone presents a contemporary approach to family-oriented entertainment design. By integrating gaming, social spaces, and children’s environments, the project creates a destination that is both energetic and inclusive.

Through its balance of material richness, spatial clarity, and diverse programming, the project goes beyond conventional recreation. It establishes a vibrant social environment where different age groups can interact, relax, and engage in meaningful experiences within a unified design language.
